Notes Manuscripts include notes on his readings, chemistry, laboratory experiments, medical accounting, and other topics. One manuscript is by Peter Bulkeley, and another is by Dorothy Treat, daughter of Gershom Bulkeley, dated 1721. Gershom Bulkeley was an eminent clerical physician of Connecticut. He preached in Wethersfield and was fluent in several languages. He maintained a large medical practice and had a chemical laboratory and a large library. He was also active in law and politics. In English, Latin, Greek and shorthand.
